For edible ink your Canon IP3600 printer must be brand new and must not of used any other type of ink before.
Edible ink
Edible ink is probably one of the most interesting – not to mention delectable – inventions made these past few years. If you have seen a photo image on the icing of a cake at least once, then you have had your encounter with edible ink and have eaten it too.
Sublimation ink
Sublimation is when a substance transitions between the solid and gas states without going through a liquid stage, dry ice is an example. In a dye sublimation printer the printing dye is heated up until it turns into a gas, at which point it diffuses onto the printing media and solidifies.
